Once again Adriana Noir did an excellent job on making SKALS #2 and it was so intense. I all most bust into tears. I enjoyed reading it .it was better as the first one. I'm so looking forward to reading her next book this summer;) Thanks Adriana Noir YOUr amazing

I just don't know how to feel about Sebastian!!! Uggghhh I totally get the way he is because of his job but the punishment for messing up for poor Taylor are really super hard to read. I adore Taylor I just wish an she wasn't so weak towards him. I get he's trying to keep her safe but does he really have to beat her with a belt she's a EFFIN ADULT!! And nothing she did or will do should warrant that kind of abuse. Or as the the disclaimer from the author calls it Domestic Discipline! Crazzzzyyy!!
I LOVE dark fiction it's one of my faves and the writers who can write the hard gritty nasty bad things in life are effin Rock stars!!!
I like this series a lot I cried at both books because of his "punishments" I know they love each other I know he adore Taylor I just wish he'd stop that one thing.
I love the SKALS That's some crazy as* crap there. HOLY HELL!
I really like Josh and Monique.
The writing is good just a couple of gripes:

Please pull back on the giggles, his curls,the blood through ears the repetition of these adjectives is too much. I will say the giggles got less with this book. Thank you! That's my opinion as a new fan and a life long reader.

Very sweet story

I took a chance on this book despite the stupid title and I'm glad I did. It's a clean romance about a h who steps in to 'save' her family from financial ruin, when her father loses the family money. She has 2 very self absorbed sisters who refuse to help out. The h's father contacts a distant relation, an old Duke and explains the family plight. The Duke suggests that one of the sisters goes to live with him for a few months and after that if he's happy, he'll make her a Duchess in the future. The older 2 sisters remember what an old dragon the Duke was and refuse to go, so the h goes off to make the sacrifice. She meets one of the Duke's relations, a very handsome Earl and starts to fall for him over time but she knows she can't go back on her promises to her family and the Duke.

In some ways it was predictable but it was such a delightful, happy read that it was well worth the time I spent reading it.

I thought that this was a good book.

I thought that this was a good book...but there was not enough romance between the main characters in the story...there was no holding hands, no kissing, there was no real affection between them..even if there are no love-making scenes I still wanna see real affection between the main characters...and in this story it just wasn't there..the focus was on everyone else except the main characters...

I was...bored. The whole book was in the main characters perspective the whole time. The way this book reads seems to just hover above the story, not giving to much detail/character development and at the same time allowing the reader just enough material to follow the story. Like I said, I was bored.
